Matt's Resume

Summary

I’m passionate about technology and developing solutions to problems.  I see how technology changes the way we go about our everyday lives each year and I’m excited to position myself at the center of this innovation in years to come.  I’ve worked at one of the largest companies in the world and excelled professionally.  I currently work as an entrepreneur and freelance developer and absolutely love my job.

I believe in a healthy mix between adopting existing best practices and developing innovation solutions, businesses and technologies.  As a freelancer I believe that a lot of the development work ahead of us lays within spreading existing technologies across the web.  With technology, progress is made everyday, but we can also all benefit by taking advantage of what’s already being done well.  I also enjoying teaching and learning from clients I work with.

I can speak technology and manage development efforts as well as understand business needs and communicate with business stakeholders.  I’m especially good at playing a liaison role between the business and technical worlds.  I’m an experienced developer comfortable with a range of platforms and programming languages and I always look for opportunities to learn something new and expand my technical competency.  I’m working on my marketing and advertising skills as I struggle differentiating between features and benefits and I’m not a very good salesman (yet).

I am an entrepreneur at heart and a technology developer in practice. I look forward to talking with you if anything I’ve said here sounds interesting.
